You want to know who is working on space debris, the New Space or even Space considered as a common good? You need to identify the type of work on a specific theme for a conference or a symposium, identify a researcher for an interview, a meeting?
The Space Chair offers a new resource to identify researchers working in SHS on space.
This tool works like an interactive directory. Just do a keyword search — “common good”, “spatial debris”, “new space”, “imaginary”, “spatial resources”, and you have the names and labs or attachment entities of young researchers working on these themes in France.
For the moment, the database is composed of young researchers in the humanities and social sciences who participated in the workshop ‘Young research in SHS on space’, organized by postdoctoral students from the Espace Chair, Fanny Valeyre and Camille Ternier, between January 2025 and April 2026.
Ultimately, the aim is to map activities in France and internationally to promote exchanges, collaborations and visibility of SHS research on spatial issues.
The resource is only available in French for now. Here is the link.
