Career
Katia Coutant is a doctoral student in public international law at the University of Paris Nanterre and chairs the Association of Young Researchers in Space Law (AJCDS). Her work focuses on the development of international law relating to outer space, particularly in the context of lunar space programmes. A graduate in international law and Franco-Russian law, she has expertise in legal and geopolitical issues in the field of space.
She teaches law and political science at Paris Nanterre University and Sciences Po Paris, and also works for The Hague Academy of International Law on inter-university competitions. She is also active in the popularisation of science.
