On 20 January 2025, Camille Ternier and Fanny Valeyre, post-docs at the Space Chair, launched the monthly ‘Young researchers in social and human sciences and outer space’ workshops, bringing together nearly thirty young researchers. Coming from disciplines as varied as political science, geography, history, philosophy, law, science and technology and the social sciences, they were able to get to know each other and discuss their research projects.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together research in the social and human sciences on spatial issues and enable its members to share their questions, present their draft texts or papers, or discuss texts that have already been published. It is open to researchers from any geographical area. Each session, some of which may be held in English, deals with a specific theme and brings together two or more members of the workshop to present their work.
